scr-c-hi

As a mere diarist and commenter, I am grateful for what RK has done.  Among other things, it has given us a great venue for discussion, information gathering, and, indeed, helped launch a great candidate and Senator-elect.

I've just joined the informal century club.

That's fantastic (pitin - 11/13/2006 11:51:15 PM)
I wish I could donate, but am having a slight cash flow problem (happens when you work on campaigns and go to University full time at the same time).

Quick question, does anyone (Lowell you reading) know if RaisingKaine PAC is registered as a State (with VA) or as a national (with FEC)?

Good question -- Lowell? (PM - 11/14/2006 9:16:33 AM)
I'm assuming all the legal ducks for the PAC are in a row?

Pitin--Don't worry about contributing--each according to his means.  I remember when I finished my freshman year, and I had $40 left in savings.

My wife (this was before I met her) collected cans and bottles to finance her graduate degree.

People who don't have to do this miss something in life.

Brian Patton is the treasurer of the RK PAC (Lowell - 11/14/2006 9:52:34 AM)
He can answer all your questions.

State PAC (Brian - 11/14/2006 10:26:09 AM)
RK is only a state PAC.

We kicked around registering as a federal PAC and that may be something we need to look at going forward.

Hope the need isn't immediate.  But after Thanksgiving (first of Dec), I'll donate.
