Let Cindy Sheehan speak for herself

For those of you who haven't heard, Cindy Sheehan is the mother of a soldier killed in Iraq who has camped out in front of Bush?s Crawford Ranch (as long as he is on vacation) demanding a conversation with President Bush on the Iraq War.  She is a smart, sharp lady with great determination to show the impact that war has had on American families.

[UPDATE #2:  Here it is!]

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I wrote an article about Cindy Sheehan saying she should be allowed to speak for herself.  I think the article was misunderstood because I made a mistake.  Usually I am a good researcher, but failed to realize that Ms. Sheehan is now very supportive of the Democratic Party, and has been very supportive of the liberal movement.  I admit that I made a mistake (doing one better than George W. Bush who claims he never made a mistake).

My overall point was that sometimes Republicans use events and people to justify their actions and the Democrats should not copy this horrible strategy.  For example, the Republican Party used the New York City Fire Department who heroically saved lives on 9/11 as an advertisement for the War in Iraq.  That was uncalled for, and unfair to those men, being used as political pawns when their heroism had nothing to do with supporting a unilateral war.

I know that Democrats would never do anything like that, but I know that with the conservative movement so strong, some of us are getting angry and that anger can lead to bad judgment (sometimes leading some people to yell at conservative voters when we should stay focused on the Republican politicians who manipulate them).  That being said, I know that Ms. Sheehan?s act of defiance is a very compelling case, and I just wanted to make a suggestion not to make her a poster-child for Democratic campaigns.  I apologize if I offended anyone, and I hope you have seen my other posts to show how strongly I am fighting for our side.  I will post another article soon explaining my overall point about how we spread our message most effectively.  Once again, this is my opinion, and not the opinion of the Kaine Campaign.  Thanks again for your interest, and I am happy that you have read any of my little posts!
