They have given us terrible ideas, worse execution of those ideas, and, now, when everything is collapsing around them, they finally see a bit of light. They have a lot to atone for. But I'll say this: They did come clean, to a point. Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, however, are another matter.
They still go around bashing Democrats and (outrageously) suggesting a vote for Dems is a vote for the terrorists. I think its abundantly clear just who has made the risk of terrorism worse. (Hint: The Dems are not in charge.)
