Mexico's $600 Billion Dollar Economy and Mexican Citizens wages $2.50 to $1.60 a Day

It was very strange when I went to visit my brother in Richmond at the Hospital, as I walked to the Hospital from the parking garage I walked past the Confederate Whitehouse, and I remembered my first visit to Richmond in the winter of 1978 to take my military physical. Grand Old Richmond full of history and character.Back then Virgina was Black and White and Cherokee Indian. Today Virginia is a Multi-Culture State with a Growing Population Growth Everyday, if not every hour. We Scot-Irish came into the Southwest Mountains in Virginia in droves,we worked hard on the farms as did the African-American farmers. If you didn't work, you didn't eat, it was that simple. My grandmother born in 1906 hated the farm and welcomed in the Viscoe factory in Roanoke in the 1920's, they had an all women boarding house a short walk from the factory. I think about how all the economical changes have taken place in Virginia and the growth of jobs. The People in the Whitehouse look at our mountains when they visit and say we are so lucky to live in a heavenly place but they truly don't understand our struggle to keep jobs in these mountains. It's a daily struggle and now we have a whole new generation of migrants looking for a better life in our Mountains and we welcome their dream but they too will need good paying jobs. NAFTA free trade created a sea of poverty in Mexico and has made some American Company CEO's Very Rich and created a service non-profit economy in America. There is good article from the Wasgington Post on the web by Mary Jordan and Kevin Sullivan called "Trade brings Riches,But Not to Mexico's Poor" Search for it on google.It talks about how NAFTA created a $600 Billion Corporate American-Mexican Joint Venture Economy in Mexico and how trickle down economics only brought Daily wages under $5.00 a Day to Millions of Mexican Citizens trapped in poverty. Immigration Policy is not about thousands of Mexicans risking their lives to escape poverty in Mexico,(The North Koreans do the same thing escaping to China looking for survival from poverty)Mass Africans have migrated to Western Europe for self-preservation and survival. Britain has very humane socialist programs for immigrants but Britain itself has found that feeding one stray cat trapped in poverty brings more cats to it's doorstep every morning. Global Poverty is a WAR that must be fought because it's in our backyard. This Poverty affects everything from taxes to sustain life in our State to the Al-Sadr Army of Poverty in Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan, Palestine, Sudan....These Corporate Greed CEO's are the enemies including in Iraq who keep people trapped in poverty through trade corruption policy and Oil Revenue Policy in Iraq. IN my opinion there will be two Revolutions in the next two years, one in Mexico and one in Iraq over poverty. Virginia needs a Factory Boom like World War Two on the Global War on Poverty to send USA made products abroad to fight poverty. Irsael has proven over 60 years that you can't fight extreme poverty with military hardware.It just don't work. The defense lobby claims you can contain radical poverty but ask to see their sell invoice and you will see it is very expensive to fight poverty with military hardware.
