Bloggers have had a huge impact on the process

I am being a bit retrospective - yes several days before the election.

I believe that Jim Webb is going to win if his supporters turn out at the polls.  No matter the outcome, what is clear is that bloggers - Lowell in particular - have had a major impact on modern day politics.

I didn't see the impact on the Kaine campaign because I wasn't aware of this website then (I live in Florida).  Since then, it has become clear that this site has garnered national interest in Jim Webb and renewed my hope that people can make a difference.

Webb has been outspent every step of the way - even by Harris Miller if you recall who put loads of his own money into the primary.  Despite having less cash, people support him.  Much of that support started on the Internet.

If the Democratic party is smart about this, they will send Lowell to train us other activists on using his techniques to replicate this success around the country.

I wouldn't call myself a Democratic activist as much as a IT professional advocate - but labor groups are natural allies with most Democrats - or the ones I want to control the party at least.

Raising Kaine is especially valuable in providing abundant information and up-to-the-minute breaking news.  If you examine the frequency and entry times of Lowell's posts, you will see that he rarely sleeps.  Lowell's skill in using graphics and photography gives Raising Kaine a comprehensive dimension that approaches paper and ink Journalism.  Specialty columnists in the main stream media are published one or two times a week.  Lowell publishes one to three times an hour 16 to 18 hours per day with thoughtful material rich in research.  Cream rises to the top!
