Will Jim Webb have a Voice in the Senate, Understanding Vote Power 101

Over the Last year Congress has got a 16% Citizen Approval Rating and the Citizens are fighting angry at the gas pump, paying the 2005-2006 Winter $300-$400 heating Bills, seeing their loves-ones called for a third combat tour in Iraq,being turned into the credit agency with threat letters and Blackballed for bad credit for a medical $40,000 hospital bill because of The Republican Anti-Citizen Bankruptcy Bill was passed in Congress. First let me speak for the Democrat Party, They had no power or very little power and the Average Blue Blood Working Class Citizen can't understand this political mumbo jumbo. People may say, "I voted for Jim Webb and nothing has changed" Our State is full of wisdom from the founding fathers,The founding fathers never trusted no government servant with extreme powers to execute law and order, dictate tax collection or spending powers of tax revenue funds or have absolute sole War Powers. There are two vote powers in the house, one being the Simple Majority power which needs 218 Votes to pass a bill and another Supermajority Power needing 369 votes to override a Presidential Veto of that bill. Even I really don't understand all this political power stuff BUT I know it's very important to "Walk the Talk" in Congress. In the Senate, Senator Webb will need 51 Votes to "Walk his Talk" to the Virginia Citizens Housholds. Sen. Webb will need 67 Votes to override a Presidential Veto of his Bill. The Only reason Social Security Pension and Insurance Program has not been dismantled and phased-out is the Republicans would have needed 60 votes to end debate on it (closure) and vote. I'm getting educated on the majority vote because without majority vote The Good Senator Webb could be an army of one in his efforts if we don't control Congress. The Best place to get educated on majority vote is at www.usnewsclassroom.com and click on inside congress and click on "Who's in Control" Majority and Minority powers because these powers have shifted to the far corporate right over the last 12 years with citizens having only a proxy protest voice with little or no vote powers but "closure powers" on debate. The majority republican party have shot down every democratic amendment or bill faster than a fly in an ice storm. The Democratic party was only on the floor for their (republicans) amusement and laughter. There was no investigations into waste, fraud and abuse in Iraq or Katrina. The F.B.I. cannot investigate without government oversight. Senator Frist and his party comitted white collar lobby fraud on the medicare and medicaid drug bill with monopoly price fixing scam to drain our elderly and low income citizens fixed incomes. It's time for Howard Dean to organize Senator Give'em Hell Harry Reid and Rep.Nancy Pelosi to address our Nation on our Current State of the Union and explain voting powers to the mass citizens and why every vote matters Nov.7
