Conservative and Liberal Blog Taxonomies

It's been a long hot summer, and the bloggers apparently are getting restless.  Bored, too.  Now, they've even taken to rating each others' sites.  First, the liberal blog "Fables of the Reconstruction" did a "Conservative Blog Taxonomy," which dissected the top right-wing blogs.  Actually, it was pretty freakin' funny if you ask me!  Then, the conservative blog called "Rightwing Nuthouse did its own "Moonbat Blog Taxonomy" of top liberal blogs, which not-as-hilariously-but-definitely-more-viciously dissected the top left-wing blogs.  Interesting that the right-winger got the idea from the left-winger, but turned it from funny to vicious/nasty.  Seems appropriate, somehow.

So, when can we expect this "taxonomy" mini-fad to hit Virginia?  Before or after the "Summit on Blogging and Democracy in the Commonwealth", scheduled for August 27 in Charlottesville?  Of course, after that, right-wing and left-wing Virginia political bloggers will all be "reaching for common ground," "promot[ing] commonwealth over partisanship," holding hands and singing Kumbaya together.  Better get those taxonomies written soon, before peace and harmony break out in the Commonwealth!  :)
