Happy Halloween Everyone! Ya know, we might knock George Allen for a lot of things here in the blogosphere, but one thing we must give him credit for is PLAYING DRESS UP. Seriously, does this guy have some great outfits below or what?

Yeesh, please find a different picture for Allen the professor. That was the graduation ceremony at my school, Longwood University, a couple of years back. I'm embarrassed just looking at it.
Thankfully I graduated this past May when the speaker was Mark Warner. Made staying the extra year for that last minute minor I added on all worth it! :-)

i did actually look for a better one oiginally but I couldn't find another one of him speaking with the cap and gown on.

And yeah, Mark was great. The president of the university introduced him as "hopefully the next President of the United States!" Ah, those were the days. Brings a tear to my eye.

In Jennifer Allen's bio of her father, she mentions that George wanted to be a dentist: "George hoped someday to become a dentist. George said he saw denistry as a perfect profession--getting paid to make people suffer." See page 22 of Fifth Quarter, The Scrimmage of a Football Coach's Daughter.
