Hello Everyone:

Below is the latest RNC e mail titled "Right Now: Text "Join" to GOP06."  Here is the link to "the Republican Party's official text messaging network:"

http://www.gop.com/s...

Desperate appeals like this to the GOP base from the RNC and the use of this highly technological RNC text messaging apparatus are very clear reasons why Democrats cannot take anything for granted in this election and why we still have to fight every race as hard, as tough, and as smart as we possibly can all the way up to Election Day!

Bush and the GOP are very desperately trying to avoid being held accountable for what they are doing by keeping a GOP controlled rubber stamp Congress and they are stooping to the lowest possible means to try and achieve that!

All people (especially disillusioned Republicans) have to know that a vote for ANY Republican candidate for Congress is just a vote to keep the current Bush rubber stamp GOP leadership in power which is a vote for "more of the same!"
Democratic candidates and Democrats in the grassroots also need to be specifically asking for the votes of disillusioned Republicans who they talk to.  You can get more votes from these people if you specifically ask them for their votes!

Please forward this on so that DEMOCRATS WILL TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED IN THIS ELECTION regardless of how badly that Bush is messing up and regardless of what any "polls" may look like so that ALL Democrats will fight each and every race as hard, as tough, and as smart as possible all the way up to Election Day!

If we do not win back at least one branch of Congress now, then we will have to "stay the course" for two more years with an irresponsible and a lame duck Bush who can do anything that he wants to with almost no restraint.  That is what is on the line in this election!

The bottom line is that Bush IS on the ballot in every single House and Senate race in every state in this election!
