Rush Limbaugh Physically Mocks Michael J. Fox

This is utterly despicable.  Rush Limbaugh has actually resorted to physically mocking the symptoms of Michael J. Fox, on heavy medication for his Parkinsons' disease.  You've got to see it to believe it.  Please tell me that everyone in America, Democrat or Republican, finds Limbaugh's behavior to be abhorrent.  Or, are we back to the worst of 7th grade here?

By the way, I just saw Michael J. Fox on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, and Fox's symptoms were very similar to those seen in the ads he cut for Democratic Senate candidates Claire McCaskill (MO) and Ben Cardin (MD).

So why are Republicans so worried about these Michael J. Fox ads?  Perhaps this explains it

What an ass (Eric - 10/26/2006 8:51:00 PM)
But that should come as no surprise to anyone.  Although going this low is a bit more than the usual dickhead he is.

Is Rush jumping the shark?  Is he so desperate for attention that he must resort to this truly ugly behavior?

Or, worse, do his listeners really believe and applaud such garbage?

Please, don't answer that.  I'd like to continue harboring the delusion that Americans really aren't that ignorant and self-centered that they'd happily wallow in Rush's manure.

Ad for Webb? (elevandoski - 10/26/2006 9:06:49 PM)
Is Fox going to do an ad for Jim Webb?

That is the story (Gordie - 10/26/2006 10:44:43 PM)
The story going around is Fox will do an ad for Webb.

Now all we need is Limbaugh to do an ad for George.

The real question... (Kindler - 10/26/2006 9:28:13 PM)
Does Limbaugh really suffer from the disease of idiocy, or is he just acting?

Now, now, be nice ... Rush is off his meds... (Loudoun County Dem - 10/26/2006 9:58:04 PM)

Limbaugh is (lwumom - 10/26/2006 9:31:13 PM)
the laughing stock of the media right now....not that he wasn't before.  But all the negative publicity he's getting can only help open the eyes of all those who listen in order to know what to think.

Limbaugh (Gordie - 10/26/2006 10:47:54 PM)
is their hero. Most of them can not wait till he comes on the air. I do not know how they live when he is not on the air.

He has been and will always be a ?????????????????????

Lowest Common Denominator (Teddy - 10/26/2006 10:20:02 PM)
Now we know how low the human species can sink, thanks to Mr. Limbaugh. It also puts on display the natural result of the current neo-conservative philosophy (if you can dignify such a sleazy mindset by the term philosophy), which is social Darwinism: all power and rewards to those who are most ruthless and strong, God loves you, and if you happen to be weak, ill, or otherwise not vile and treacherous, then you deserve your fate, let's all pile on and make your situation worse.

Notice the projection: Fox is acting, says Limbaugh, implying (as other republicans have claimed that) Democrats elevate victims to gain political points--- exactly what republicans seek to do, and would if they'd thought of it, so they judge everyone else by themselves. Has any prominent republican, including Senator Talent in Missouri (McCaskill's opponent) disavowed Limbaugh? Don't hold your breath.

Playing the victim (Eric - 10/27/2006 9:39:48 AM)
Seems to me that Allen has been (incorrectly) playing the victim card for most of this campaign.

Allen was the real victim of the macaca incident.

Allen has been the victim of an ugly smear campaign from many college associates/teammates.

Allen was the victim of an anti-semitic attack (carried out by jews, no less).

If Rush wants to attack a faker he should take a good look at George Allen.  Don't hold your breath for that one.

It's a simple case of (libra - 10/27/2006 1:17:00 AM)
projection...

He does not know much either about Parkinson's or the meds used for it. When Fox uses his meds, he's able to perform, however shakily. If he gets off his meds, he "freezes" (several experts said so).

With Limpdick, it's the other way around... It's only *with* his "meds" that he's able to be stiff enough to perform; without them his performance is shaky... Ask any underage girl in the Dominican Republic... :)
