I have never been prouder of my home state than I was when Doug Wilder was elected governor. He led the state through that severe recession of the Reaganesque 1980's with a deft hand and masterful leadership.
I figured he would endorse Jim Webb, but I am really happy to see the endorsement coming early enough to make a real impact in the state.
