We did it, thanks to our overwhelming support across the 11th District, we've become the first campaign ever to run TV ads against Tom Davis. But we need to raise another $50,000 to keep this ad on the air through Election Day.

Our polling shows that this race is very close, but it's critical that we communicate our message in these final weeks. Can you help us tell the truth about Tom Davis?

You and I know that Davis is little more than a rubberstamp for the Bush Administration.

You and I know that Andrew Hurst is the kind of principled leader we need in Washington.

But it's critical that we make sure voters across the district know what we know. Click here to contribute $500, $200, or the most you can afford today.

Why is Tom Davis acting so desperate? (Kindler - 10/24/2006 8:49:56 PM)
CQ calls Tom Davis's seat "Safe Republican."  Yet Davis has now sent out FOUR negative flyers in a row against Hurst.

The latest one shows a spaceship beaming Andy up, with the headline "Andrew Hurst is Out-Of-This-World on Issues Important to Us."  (Is Davis trying to win the coveted Weekly World News endorsement?)

Candidates who are truly in safe positions don't waste their money on negative advertising.  Tom Davis is clearly scared that he just might lose this one.  It's time for polling organizations to take the pulse of this race and see how "safe" this seat really is.

Also, if Davis is planning on running..... (Ambivalent Mumblings - 10/25/2006 12:24:44 PM)
.....for Senate he would want to use a "safe Republican seat" in order to spread the word about how great he claims to be. Instead, he realizes that he has a strong opponent in Andy and must now work extremely hard if he wants to be reelected.

Tommy is scared....no doubt about it..... (bladerunner - 10/24/2006 10:05:45 PM)
We all know Tommy's nervous, he has to be. He's never had a good candidate challenge him, and now he has an excellent one in Andrew Hurst. Davis has people with signs in their yards, but doesn't have the grass roots in local neighborhoods. All these people with signs in their yards AREN'T DOING SQUAT for him--they're just lazy, fat GOPers who Tommy calls and says,"please put a sign in your yard". And they do, but that's all they do. All he has is a bunch of 20 somethings in zuit suits and ties that live on the hill and once a week drive out to suburbia and put a few signs in the medians.
