Prepare him if you can, (RenaRF - 10/24/2006 12:24:45 PM)
Lowell.  I'll bet money he's going to get an overwhelming amount of questions as to what he's doing regarding the Ballot issue where his last name is left off.  The thread at dKos on this subject (front paged) is garnering a great deal of criticism that his campaign isn't screaming bloody murder and going to court.

And commercials and mail. (phriendlyjaime - 10/24/2006 12:32:00 PM)
People want to know where their money is being spent.

Checked out Allen's endorsements (chiefsjen - 10/24/2006 12:57:19 PM)
on his web page and i was shocked (but not really) that Allen would LIE about his endorsements.

first off, most of his endorsements are totally pathetic, but this one caught my eye:

Supporting Organizations:

International Association of Fire Fighters

now wait for it... right after that there's this little caveat:

(IAFF demonstrated its support of Senator Allen’s candidacy by donating to his campaign)  -- WTF???? was my first thought, because i was sure that Webb got the endorsement, and so sure enough I check Webb's site and there it is:

International Association of Fire Fighters under Organization Endorsements...

so is Allen trying to claim that he got an "endorsement" from the IAFF which really was nothing more than maybe 1 person giving money to the campaign?

Lowell? anything you can do to check this out and maybe make an issue out of it?

i called... (chiefsjen - 10/24/2006 6:37:00 PM)
i called allen's HQ in NoVa to ask them what the deal was with the IAFF...

they said that the IAFF PAC gave money to Allen, showing "their support" but did not endorse Allen, as Webb got the endorsement and i made sure that they knew it when i called...  I said it about 5 times...

i kept asking the girl, why isn't it listed as a PAC then and she said, well they said I didn't have to say it was a PAC, but they were instructed that they (allen) could not say he was endorsed by them, only that they gave him money.

Bloggers! (drmontoya - 10/24/2006 1:53:15 PM)

It's up!!!!!! (phriendlyjaime - 10/24/2006 3:22:54 PM)

I got distracted by Webb on MSNBC (Todd Smyth - 10/24/2006 3:45:52 PM)
They just did a feature on the Webb/Allen race and then veered into Obama.
