Webb Is Reluctant To Advertise Duty. Why ? Even if it means winning.

This is the shameless Allen's spokesman
"So you mean to tell me that there's something wrong with keeping the memory of someone's loved one alive? Quite frankly, I'm aghast that he would say that."

So here is my concern. If the shameless Zero's are advertising themselves even using some body else sacrifice; Why is Jim Webb hesitant and reluctant to advertise his service to the country. I don't get it.

Jim Webb - You are a decent and a courageous man. This election is too important and I only hope you will give every thing you got to get this bigot (Allen) out of public life. If you don't talk about your strengths, they will fill the vaccum with lies and you will be on defensive arguing about your stregths.

I hope Webb changes his mind. Don't be afraid of the swift boating AD's.

I understand your frustration with Mr. Webb for not running on his war record, but I admire him for his stance.  The record's out there for anyone to look at, and there's nothing to stop his supporters from trumpeting it, but he's not the type to engage in that sort of self-promotion.  He's got plenty of substance outside of the war record and doesn't have to pump himself up to look good. 

The Swifties have been silent on Webb's record because he can match or exceed anything any of them has and they know it.  If they ever do take off the gloves and attack him on that front he'll be able to respond, I'm sure.

Character means you don't change your beliefs when it is convenient for you. You believe the same thing all the time and that directs your actions.

I support Jim Webb because he is a man of character.

I would love to see him throw up his military record against Allen's dude-ranch record but Webb is who he is.

That's why we support him.

Jim Webb's service record is and has been promoted widely.  It has been all over the media since late Winter.  If Jim Webb doesn't want to talk about it in person, so what?  Let Jim Webb be Jim Webb!

...and keep in mind that the 'excuse' the swift boater's used to attack Kerry's service record was that he had made it part of the campaign.
