I think it's spelled Ickes (pronounced Ik-ees). His father was someone in FDR's administration -- Interior Secretary? Been around politics all his life. Anywho, loved the ad.

I think the punchline may be a little weak. Just has "Vote for change" in type.
Personally, I like this sort of messaging, but will it be strong enough to get the right message to the undecided voters? Or will they just think, yeah, Bush sucks.
Not sure - but I will say this: I'd rather have this ad running than not. It certainly won't hurt the effort.
