In tonightGÇÖs commercial spot, I must give credit to George Allen for stating that he would like to make this a clean race for Senate. He even admitted that he brought some of it on himself. If you listened closely, however, you will notice that he failed to admit that his actions were wrong.

Furthermore, he did not accept the fact that his campaign has participated in the negative campaigning. For the viewer casually following the campaign, that would lead one to believe that Jim Webb is the sole person producing negative campaign ads. That is completely incorrect. For instance, while announcing that there wouldnGÇÖt be a shake up in the Allen Campaign, the A-Team decided to personally attack a major Webb supporter, Lowell Feld.

If Allen is going to state that he wants a friendly debate, he should admit that his paid blogger has been a leading cause in the recent negative campaigning. Only then can Allen begin to can back the trust of the American people.
