Crickets Chirping

That's the sound we hear from the moralistic right wing over the hideous sex scandal involving 16-year-old male pages, a now-former Republican Congressman, and the Republican's top leadership in the House of Representatives.  It's also the sound we hear from George Allen, Tom Davis, Frank Wolf, and all the rest of these guys.  I guess they don't care about this or this or even this?

Just imagine if a Democratic Congressman had been caught soliciting 16-year-old male pages for sexual purposes, and a Democratic House leadership had been caught covering it up?  I doubt we'd only be hearing crickets chirping in Right Wing World.

So does this mean that Davis might get indicted for something else ? (Used2Bneutral - 10/2/2006 6:44:59 AM)
If this cover-up investigation moves fast enough the question is will it get to the warrent process faster than the corrupt illegal financial dealings???? (I hope)

I gotta believe the Democrat leadership will be doing everything they can to speed this up so we don't have to have anymore "special" elections in the spring to replace the resignations from additional Repuglican congressmen.

Could Eric Cantor be the next Virgina Congressman to go down with Foley. He contributed $14,000 to Foley's reelection. That much money from a Virginian to support a Florida congressman means Cantor must be a "Good" friend!
Cantor is part of the House Leadership. Therefore he is as responsible for this happening as the rest of the Leadership. In legal terms it's called aiding and abetting.
If the Republicans won't come clean, then we shouldn't reelect ANY of the leadership, until the American people have REAL answers.
