And first up we have Larry Sabato, whose 'Crystal Ball' seems to need a tune-up in the latest edition. Witness:

Uh, Larry, Mark Foley is on the phone for you.

I though this would be a good place for depositing information and talking about it, the various campaigns, and anything else we want to talk about. football, car racing, etc.

Kiddie Pool's Open!!!

Craig White, Al Weed, Dave Vezendy, and Chris Coleman at Cumberland High School on Friday morning.

Hi, Mark. (Kathy Gerber - 10/1/2006 6:02:24 PM)
Just got back a little while ago from canvassing.  What a lovely day. And in a little while I'm going down to Lynchburg.

I suppose now we are going to be treated to a big push on the amendment.  What a treat.

On the positive side of that, so many Virginians are out there educating people on it.  I had a nice big lecture from a friend who is not very political :)

As a parent and soon to be grandparent I am sickened. With all of this rhetoric to appeal to misguided puritanism along with needless Constitution tampering that does nothing positive for anyone, young boys are being preyed upon by elected officials.  The laws to protect children are being ignored and circumvented by elected officials at the highest level.

This is just beyond words.

Sounds like a good day (Mark - 10/1/2006 8:03:37 PM)
See?  People even ignore my open threads...! j/k

It is a serious time. I am reeling from all that has happened in just the last week. I can't believe this is America.

It was a perfect day to canvass. I wish I had felt like I could do something today. I feel like I am worn down like a piece of sandpaper.

You've been at it for a long time - just a few more weeks.

We're having a dinner Oct 14 in Lovingston. Why don't you come on over?
