We, the undersigned, are absolutely sickened with the way you have taken the Allen Campaign, specifically with regards to your accusations of anti-Semitism of certain members of the Jim Webb for Senate Campaign. Many of these bloggers that you have accused of anti-Semitism are, in fact, Jewish. And those that are not are incredibly offended that you would make such senseless accusations without any proof of anti-Semitic statements.
Virginia has always had a tradition of insisting that both Democrats and Republicans be held to the highest levels of responsibility and integrity during campaigns. When they refuse to, they usually are forced to pay the price. In a state with a rich tradition of Honor and Pride, such personal attacks and bullying are unwelcome.
We find that the comments made by Dick Wadhams in the September 21st, 2006 issue of the Richmond Times-Dispatch to be slanderous and without evidence. We demand that Mr. Wadhams apologize for these comments to the activist community he has offended.
