Yet Another Grassrots/Netroots Victory? Deval Patrick Wins Primary in MA

According to Markos at Daily Kos, the victory of Deval Patrick's victory yesterday in the Massachusetts Democratic gubernatorial primary represented another victory for the netroots/grasroots.  According to Markos:

Woo hoo! Congrats to Patrick and his merry band of grassroots and netroots activists that helped get him over the finish line first...With almost half the votes counted, Patrick has 47 percent, Gabrieli 29 percent, and Reilly (once the front-runner) 23 percent. Another movement people-powered Democrat has triumphed over Big Money.

I haven't been following this race closely, but I'll take Kos' word for it.  The process of "Crashing the Gate" - taking down the current, rotten, money-based system of American politics - continues.  May it live long and prosper!

P.S. Markos' and Jerome's inspirational book is now out in paperpack.
