Excel database of George Allen's voting record

Today I found the Washington Post's listing of Congressional votes, by individual. I copied all of George Allen's votes since 2001 and am putting them in an Excel database.

The WP listings show the legislation's number and description, Allen's vote, the Republican vote and the Democratic vote. Once I get them in Excel, I'm going to categorize them *in light of issues and voter segments in Virginia.*

It's probably going to take me a couple of weeks to finish it in my "spare" time, but I want to use it to inform my blogs from Va, when I get there on 9/26.
I've downloaded other material from Vote-Smart and from some other websites, but WP actually lists every vote. I'm hoping to find some interesting tidbits in there that demonstrate the complete betrayal of almost every voting segment in Va. Then I can target my blogs to these people. I'd also like to identify some "wedge" issues for Republicans...the body armor ad is a wonderful example.

It's also interesting to consider what he *hasn't* voted on:  Aid to small farmers, aid to small businesses, support for businesses negatively affected by trade policies . Why hasn't Allen proposed legislation to help the people of Virginia cope with the consequences of the economic policies he voted for?

It may turn out to be a wild goose chase, but at least at the end of it, I'll know GA's voting record backwards and forwards.

Can you give us the link to where you got this from?  And do they have it for other members of Congress, say, Tom "I'm Not  a Moderate" Davis?
