Don't let a Dictator make the decisions for life, choice, CURES

Webb's pro-choice is a must!!
Stem cell research is also a must; in fact it's the only thing that makes sense.  How can the use of stem cells be wrong or an act of killing?  Embryos are trashed each year and there must be something positive this form of life can be used for or do instead of becoming waste.

We have so many citizens that need medical help that stem cells can be used for.  If you truly believe these embryos are a form of life, let Jim Webb support the use of them to better the lives of others.  This way we can at least try and find cures for persons in pain or with disease.  It's a lot more honorable than becoming a piece of garbage.

Allen is neglecting our disabled/diseased citizens and future generations.  It's totally immoral.  Don't believe a man votes to send our troops to their deaths.
Not only is stem cell research the only ethical move toward improving medical care, it will help keep the U.S. from falling further behind other nations in science and giving care to each citizen.  We all deserve the best care and medical knowledge available.

There is not a man alive today who has the right to define what life is, where it begins, and what should be done with each.  Allen supports and says he's part of this "so-called" religious right.
A truly religious person does not agree to war(s).

In fact, it's not the place of any man to limit the life of another.  If you're a Christian, consider the fact that God gave man a mind to use to better himself and help his neighbor.  Supporting stem cell research is a way to help your fellow man.  Be a good Christian by letting Jim Webb improve the lives of others and stop wasting embryos.

You said the sad part (Gordie - 9/16/2006 9:35:04 AM)
Our scientists, etc. are leaving this country just so they can do proper reseach on stem cells.

There will be progress made and maybe faster because there will not be the politics of this country involved.

The sad part is as you say it will hurt our economy, etc. because we are not doing it.

All the focus is on the religious right, but I believe it has more to do with the pharmacetical companies then the religious right. After all who contributes the most finaces to their campaigns. The religous right may give them the vote, but the money comes from drugs.
