I thought you would appreciate a Bush voter's take on the ad. He didn't have any problem with the call to remove it- calling that silly, everyone uses Reagan in politics these days.
This is from a very conservative and dear friend.

Wow, I got spine tingly seeing Reagan.  After watching that classy commerical I feel like Webb is great and he doesn't say stupid stuff like "Macaca."
I really liked the Reagan endoresement. That's going to pull tons of 40 something GOPers like myself to the Web camp.  You put Reagan's name on a box of hair and we'd buy it. Gee I miss that guy.

And to assure you he's no friend to the Democratic Party (I only edited out names to protect the conservative):

A DNC gal came by the house Thursday at 8:30 pm (late for a marketing visit).  My wife opened the door with a crucifix and my daughter threw Holy Water on her. I stayed back in my den with a garlic necklace looking for my wooden stake.

Ronald vs. Nancy (Bubby - 9/9/2006 1:37:37 PM)
I never understood what Dutch saw in that woman. She was as uptight as he was loose.  Opposites attract I guess.

Keep the ad.. (drmontoya - 9/9/2006 4:41:35 PM)
The more the Repubs, Allen, and Nancy demand he take it down, the more free press and attention webb gets.

This race really is Allen vs. Allen.

Thank Allen and his folks for helping introduce Jim Webb to Virginia and America.

Bravo Boys, Bravo!
