Last night, George Allen was named the "worser person in the world" by Keith Olbermann for copying/stealing/plagiarizing Senator Durbin's amendment.  Ha. :)

Is this twice now on Olbermann's list? (phriendlyjaime - 9/8/2006 10:53:02 AM)
Or 3 times?

Olbermann might suggest (Newport News Dem - 9/8/2006 11:01:37 AM)
BUY THE BOOK AND COUNT THE TIMES!!!!! :~)

Few greater compliments (I.Publius - 9/8/2006 11:02:44 AM)
than to be called out, insulted, and/or ridiculed by such a moronic tool as Olbermann.

I guess if Michael Moore denigrates you, that would be a little better.  But not much.

Typical Hardcore Republican (DanG - 9/8/2006 11:18:30 AM)
If somebody shows any sign of intelligence that doesn't support you, their automatically a "tool."  Go back to Fox News, and enjoy living in that world where Bush is still popular and Republicans will make gains this fall in the Congress.

It's Olberman's Fault (Newport News Dem - 9/8/2006 11:22:36 AM)
he made Allen steal Durbin's amendment to call his own.

Remember, the gop is the party of personal responsibility. Repeat as necessary........

Stop (DukieDem - 9/8/2006 1:41:48 PM)
I Pubs is a child. If you keep responding to his moronic posts, he will stick around. Pretend he's not here and he will go away.

Entirely Consistent with Allen's Upbringing (PM - 9/8/2006 11:14:15 AM)
In Jennifer Allen's book, she talked about some dishonest things her family did, like take personal trips and make personal phone calls on the Redskins' credit card.  George was one of those participating, e.g., calling up for the CA surf reports.

Kind of like Allen's lie that he comes from a family of faith, which is discussed in one of my diaries -- Jennifer's book blasts that one out of the water, too.

He's just a dishonest person.

RTD (martha - 9/8/2006 1:43:18 PM)
I "heard" that the RTD asked Allen how he felt about Giulliani campaigning for him in VA and supposedly Allen said " It's good for the Tony "Meatball" vote.

Is this true????

Is he THAT stupid?

I have found third party quotes of RTD on this... (Loudoun County Dem - 9/8/2006 2:23:07 PM)
...but the RTD site doesn't seem to have ANY articles on the Giuliana/Allen quote... Hmmmmmm....

Fits right in with our King George, doesn't he? Natural successor. (RayH - 9/8/2006 2:18:39 PM)

George Allen. (drmontoya - 9/8/2006 11:26:52 AM)
I think it's safe to say in my opinion.

That Allen is a freaking idiot.

Wow, how the heck did he ever get elected?

Well... "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".

Or in GW's words. "Fool me once you can't get fooled again"

Sorry Mr. Allen, Virginia is going to send you into political retirement.

Adios!

While our representatives have debated relatively meaningless issues, millions more U.S. citizens have fallen below poverty level; our young people are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan; the United States is dropping like a rock in educational standards and achievements; our national agencies, designed to assist those in need during disasters or difficult times, are being eviscerated as more of our tax dollars are diverted to "defense"; and our ports and airplane cargo shipments remain wide open. I could go on and on.

George Allen has been a willing participant in these failed policies, supporting them even when most Virginians would rather see our resources invested here at home.

Every time I read about one of the GOP legislators in this state blowharding about taxes I think about the $310+ billion Bush has wasted in Iraq.

BTW, my bro is serving in Aghanistan and happened to be standing on the other side of the building from where the explosion in Kabul took place some hours ago.  His e-mail says he is fine.  I am voting for Jim Webb in part because I know he'll offer those who serve our country the finest in protection, arms, and leadership.  Remember, this administration is the one that sent soldiers off to war with unarmored vehicles.  His amendment stealing yesterday was hypocritical and morally disgusting.

Glad your brother is ok, PM n/t (lwumom - 9/8/2006 11:50:31 AM)

Wow! (Arturo - 9/8/2006 12:19:40 PM)
Olbermann should apologize to Allen for calling him "worser person in the world"! :-)
