Just for the heck of it, let's try something new: an open thread.

What are you doing this long weekend?  Of course, you'll be marching for one of our candidates, but what about the rest of the time?  As for me, I finished my Eagle Scout Project today, and I leave for a week at Boy Scout camp tomorrow.

Special thanks to Giant, Home Depot, Abbey Carpet, the Humane Society of Fairfax County, Papa John's Pizza, Kinko's, Diego Wilson, Bill Edwards, my parents, the Romais Family, Chap Petersen, Sharell Houston, Paul Frakes, our own Lowell Feld, his wife Kelly, and everyone else who pitched in at my project!  I couldn't have done it without you!

PS: I won't have internet access for a week, so any emails you send me will be delayed, but I will answer them.  Promise.

Ben,

We built 20 platforms for dogs to sleep on and a picnic table for the Humane Society of Fairfax County.  We built them from scratch and painted them, then delivered them out to a their farm in Centreville.

First. All open threads need someone to annoyingly scream that they are first to comment.
