Mayor Rocky Anderson of Salt Lake City was dis-invited to speak at the convention of the American Legion recently--- where, as you recall, Sec Def Rumsfeld made his infamous and stupid "Fascist" speech.  Here is a link to Mayor Anderson's full speech.  Please forgive the initial 5 seconds of some sort of Salt Lake commercial-- then the speech comes on, a mite long but a real bell ringer with some wonderful one-liners. Well worth a listen. Forward it to others, including those folks who may need to grow a spine.

Us political junkies pretty much knew everything the Mayor brings up, but I know most of the general public, being rather comatose politically, does not.

It is refreshing to hear The Truth presented outright, not "balanced" by meek little "he says" then "the others say" as if lies are equal to truth,which is what Anderson boldly accuses the media of doing. He does it without an qualifications or CYA-ing of any type.  Just SAYS it. How wonderful!
