The Webb campaign was started largely by grassroots efforts on the internet; it has been sustained and pushed into the national and international stage largely by individuals on the internet; now there's another twist. Dan Sullivan, retired Marine Corps LtCol and very cool human being, has launched a grassroots site for grassroots efforts in Hampton Roads.  This site will be a one-stop shop for volunteers to plug into the Webb campaign here in Hampton Roads.  Over time, it will contain action alerts, information about upcoming events where volunteers are needed, etc.

To see the site, visit www.webbgrassrootshamptonroads.com

Now, you all should know that Dan Sullivan, pictured here at the Hampton Roads regional Webb for Senate office opening wearing a striped shirt (sorry Dan... that's not the best picture of you, but it's the most recent one I have),is not a website guru.  As a matter of fact, this is the first time he's made a website, and I think you'll agree that he's done a terrific job.  Dan stepped up to perform this new task because he, like many of you here, is very committed to seeing Webb in office.  During other grassroots driven campaigns, such as the Dean and Clark campaigns, websites such as this sprung up.

Dan's website will be an extremely useful tool for our grassroots efforts here and perhaps, if we're lucky, it will inspire more grassroots "Webb-sites."  If you need help starting your own grassroots site, you can contact Dan at webbgrassrootshamptonroads@yahoo.com for assistance.  Dan will be glad to support your grassroots efforts across the state.

GO GRASSROOTS for WEBB!
