Looks like you all had quite an eventful weekend/end of the week! I was out of town at a farm in Ohio, with the slowest dial-up connection I have ever experienced and friends not as obsessed with the Span as me. So, I was hoping you could all do me a favor today. Go ahead and use this as an open thread, but also use this as a diary rescue-help me create a list of what to read as I catch up on my news from Thursday 8/17 to today, 8/22. And please catch me up with any newsbits that happened to our dear Senator and our fantastic candidate.

George Allen continues to make up reasons for calling S.R.Sidarth names, and welcoming him to the "real Virginia".
Allen's polling has cratered - bringing the race to a dead heat.
The Wingtopians in Allenstan continue to call the Allen-Moment-of-Heartfelt-Hatred a meaningless blip. Probably because that is how they live their own lives, and the people that know them act like hate doesn't matter.
Jim Webb has a great piece out on Iraq, and foreign policy. There is more insight and wisdom there than Allen will ever hope to have. But the word is that George Allen has been given a tutor - he has 75 days to figure out how he isn't Bush-lite.
