George Allen, well, came in second, but it's still'a'thrill....for his...

ProChoice v. Pharma Stockholder for Plan B (morning after contraceptive) whishy-whashy, flip-floppy "position"

Uh, Keith Olbermann noticed this...must be reading RK :)))

I got so excited seeing that! (Doug Garnett-Deakin - 8/9/2006 6:23:32 AM)
I wasn't paying attention and had to do a quick tivo reverse. There he was winning the silver- Felix the Plan B investor! The hypocracy was wonderful- what a great way to see Felix's base become unmotivated. When will the Washingtonpost do the in depth front page article?

Let's keep Keith and other pundits apprised (RayH - 8/9/2006 4:28:43 PM)

Let's keep Keith and other media pundits apprised of:

1)The better choice we have in Jim Webb for US Senate! We need wise leaders to help resolve important issues like Iraq and our economy while steering clear of distractions from right wing extremists.

2)The foolish leadership and ineffectiveness of George Allen. He deserves to be a laughingstock.

I didn't know anyone actually watched Olberman : ) (va.walter - 8/9/2006 4:33:23 PM)
Glad to know both his Virginia viewers post on RK : ).  Just joking...although it is too bad he gets so few viewers as the piece will have such little impact.  National coverage is always great though.

Olberman is great! (Alicia - 8/9/2006 5:12:14 PM)
Maybe you're confused since most repubs watch Bill Oh Really.

jealousy (hrconservative - 8/9/2006 5:41:32 PM)
Olberman is jealous of Bill oh Rielly. Its obvious.

That said, Less Conservatives agree with some of Bill O'Rielly's positions than you might think.

Yeah (Mark - 8/10/2006 6:50:04 AM)
That whole American-GI's-as-war-criminals-at-Malmady thing was something to be jealous about.

You are so deluded, you might as well be swimming in Kool-Aid, if not drinking gallons of it. Bill-O has nothing to be proud about as a loud-mouthed stupid gasbag. He isn't even close to what I would call a journalist. Never has been, never will be.

As a veteran, I am highly offended at the above episode, which he has spouted twice now. That is only one thing among hundreds that make him a jerk. And no, I am not jealous.

You, however, need some brain drano.

Especially since Bill-O has made the Malmedy mistake TWICE... (Loudoun County Dem - 8/10/2006 12:15:46 PM)
...ironically General Wesley Clark was the guest both time.

For those who don't know what Malmedy is, this is from the wikipedia page

In 1944, during the Battle of the Bulge, the area was the site of the Malmedy massacre, where some 100 American prisoners of war were executed by German SS troops.

Both times Bill-O referred to Malmedy he was trying to downplay attrocities in Iraq (Haditha & Abu Ghraib) by claiming that it was the American soldiers that gunned down the German prisoners (reversing the facts).

Here is Olbermann's video on Crooks and Liars

So Intelligent and Fun (seveneasypeaces - 8/9/2006 10:23:00 PM)
You can sign up to get his daily email too.  I've been getting it for a long time.  That way, if I have to miss his show I can still read about what he thought was important.  I remember watching him during Theft 2000 and then he disappeared.  I was heartbroken.  I always wondered if he got too truthful for the times.  Then suddenly there he was again counting down.

Didn't he get voted the sexiest newsman by votes on MsMag which apparently upset some of the contestants.  I remember voting for him!

The Webb Blog has the clip!!! (beachydem - 8/9/2006 8:42:32 PM)

I would recommend, but... (Dan - 8/10/2006 2:46:26 PM)
Very interesting, but I would only recommend if you found the video for that.  Should be on Olbermann's website

such a tool as Olbermann is a high compliment.  He's made his career on being an offensive, know-it-all jerk -- and he's just bitter that O'Reilly and Limbaugh have earned more fame and more money using the same formula.
