Hello Everyone:

George Allen will be on FOX News "Your World" with Neil Cavuto today talking about his stance on Gitmo:

4:00pm

Your World w/ Neil Cavuto (cc)

"The Gitmo Debate +óGé¼GÇ¥ What's next? Senator George Allen thinks we shouldn't let our guard down just yet. He joins Neil to explain his stance on the controversial Cuban detention center."

This same show will also be repeated at 1:00 AM and at 5:00 AM Eastern Standard Time after the 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time show today.

Allen will probably wind up putting himself into some kind of a box regardless of what he says so this should be worth watching in my opinion!

Please forward this on to Webb supporters.  We have to know what Allen is saying in order to run the best campaign against him!

Hotline ran an item that I referenced here on Allen's Gitmo deception points.

This is an opening to directly link Allen to the total SNAFU that is national policy.

Summary of George Allen on "Your World" w/ Neil Cavuto from July 12 (Mitch Dworkin - 7/13/2006 4:37:15 AM)
George Allen was in "good company" on this show with other guests like Oliver North, Tom DeLay, and Ann Coulter on this so-called "Fair & Balanced" program!

How I wish that FOX News would make transcripts of ALL of their programs and have a paper trail to follow like other credible cable news channels do such as CNN and MSNBC!

Here are some quotes and statements from George Allen on Gitmo in this interview which lasted about 3 minutes:

We will "abide by the Supreme Court ruling."

"Having seen what the treatment is which is very good, clean, and medical staffing, and psychological, the meals, arrows pointing east towards Mecca for praying.  All of that is abiding by the Geneva Convention."

The vast majority at Gitmo are enemy combatants.  20% can be released to their home countries.  Of the 450 there, 3/4 of them are enemy combatants.  They are terrorists we are facing who in a split second would cut our throats.

"The treatment is very fair."

The men and women working at Gitmo "are doing an outstanding job with a great deal of patience."

Gitmo is "in compliance with all the applicable Geneva Conventions as far as fair, humane, and clean treatment."
