Hello Everyone:

Right below is the MSNBC Countdown video link of Keith Olbermann interviewing John Dean about his new book coming out on Tuesday, July 11 titled "Conservatives Without Conscience" which lasts for 14 minutes and 51 seconds.

This was a very interesting and informative interview that is well worth your time watching in my opinion.  John Dean talks bluntly about how far overboard that the extreme right wing has gone, how that they always have authority figures to follow and enemies to unite against, how to best fight back against this extremism by being informed about what is going on, and many other valid points!

The pieces of the puzzle of what you see going on with Bush, Cheney, George Allen, and all the other extreme right wing GOP Neocons will all fit together much better after you watch this video!

Below the video link is a good write up of John Dean's new book "Conservatives Without Conscience."  I have John Dean's last book "Worse than Watergate" and it is excellent in my opinion!

I am sure that John Dean's new book will also be good from what I heard in this interview and I also think that this book will be a good tool to show to moderate and disillusioned Republicans to help wake them up about what is going on so that they will not vote for Bush "Rubber Stamp" Neocon Republican candidates like George Allen in November!

That is a very important thing for us to do in order to help the candidates who we are supporting (like Jim Webb) defeat their Bush "Rubber Stamp" GOP opponents (like George Allen) so that we can win back power in at least one branch of Congress in November which will help to restore some real accountability back to government before 2008!

I have found John Dean to be credible with the facts so I would encourage forwarding this video on for as many people as possible to see!

About the Author: John Dean was White House legal counsel to President Nixon for a thousand days. Dean also served as chief minority counsel for the House Judiciary Committee and as an associate deputy attorney general in the U.S. Department of Justice.

Description: John Dean takes a sobering look at how radical elements are destroying the Republican Party along with the very foundations of American democracy.

John Dean's last New York Times bestseller, Worse Than Watergate: The Secret Presidency of George W. Bush, offered the former White House insider's unique and telling perspective on George W. Bush's presidency. Once again, Dean employs his distinctive knowledge and understanding of Washington politics and process to examine the conservative movement's current inner circle of radical Republican leaders -- from Capitol Hill to Pennsylvania Avenue to K Street and beyond. In Conservatives Without Conscience, Dean not only highlights specific right-wing-driven GOP policies but also probes the conservative mind-set, identifying recurring qualities such as the unbridled viciousness toward those daring to disagree with them, as well as the big business favoritism that costs taxpayers billions. Dean identifies specific examples of how court packing is seeking to form a judiciary that is activist by its very nature, how religious piety is producing politics run amok, and how concealed indifference to the founding principles of liberty and equality is pushing America further and further from its constitutional foundations.

By the end, Dean paints a vivid picture of what's happening at the top levels of the Republican Party, a noble political party corrupted by its current leaders who cloak their actions in moral superiority while packaging their programs as blatant propaganda. Dean, certainly no alarmist, finds disturbing signs that current right-wing authoritarian thinking, when conflated with the dominating personalities of the conservative leadership could take the United States toward its own version of fascism.
