Cut and Run VS Stay and Pay

The Republicans are throwing around the catch phrase "Cut And Run" with great frequency.  It's catchy and makes a good sound bite.  I have a response for them.  So instead of "cutting and running" you are advocating "STAY AND PAY" as a national stragegy?  STAY and continue to PAY the rising butcher's bill for a faulty and failed strategy by having more of our troops maimed and killed?  STAY AND PAY and see our national debt soar higher and higher to PAY for the occupation of Iraq?  STAY AND PAY by mortgaging our children's and our grandchildren's futures?  And just in case you haven't noticed, mortgage rates are rising inexorably. STAY AND PAY sounds like a strategy that's too wickedly expensive for our country to support.

Personally, I like "lie and die" (Lowell - 7/9/2006 10:29:38 AM)
Which pretty much sums up the Bush Administration's policy towards Iraq.  "Stay and pay" is good too!

Stay and Pray; Lie and DIE.

"Stay and Pay" and "Lie and Die" make a good 1-2 punch.
