Matt Stoller Rips George Allen on Net Neutrality

This is great:

...Allen is leading the reader to think that he supports net neutrality.  Only he very much does not, as his vote indicated.

I find it interesting that Allen's statement leads you to think that he supports something he in fact voted against.  I wonder if his telecom lobbyist bosses dock his campaign contributions, or if they understand that he's just playing politics.

In other words, this is yet ANOTHER Allen flip flop, adding to his growing list (stem cells, ethanol, etc.). Read the whole story here.

Flip flop (Dude - 7/6/2006 4:24:53 PM)
Can we not use that phrase? I think I'm going to vomit.

I think we should throw it right back in Allen's face (Lowell - 7/6/2006 4:35:14 PM)
The DSCC apparently agrees.

Flip-Flop vs Fibber (snolan - 7/6/2006 4:41:10 PM)
Allen is a flip-flopper on many things, but on Net Neutrality he is simply a fibber.  Matt Stoller is right - Allen is mis-representing his own vote, and we should all hold the lying Senator accountable.

I got an email about it (phriendlyjaime - 7/6/2006 4:49:12 PM)

I threw it on my open thread
