dammit (Jambon - 7/5/2006 10:29:17 PM)
If I knew I was going to be on video I would have gelled my hair and wore my other shit.

Damn that handsome Chap Peterson.

oops (Jambon - 7/5/2006 10:30:04 PM)
other "shirt".  seriously, i meant to say shirt!

Oh, that's Justin (phriendlyjaime - 7/5/2006 10:34:09 PM)
he's filling in for Matt Pinksler's (Pickles) fill-in who was in Charlottesville taping Felix on the horse.

There may be a great pic floating around of me, Ben, and Justin, in which I told him...

"I love your work-can I take a picture with you?"

He didn't even look like it was a weird request.

Stalker caught in the act (seveneasypeaces - 7/5/2006 10:53:26 PM)
That's Chap Peterson?  Dang, he's movie star purdy.

Everyone smile and look pretty for the out of state visitors.

What we need is a Allen stalker, stalker (not gretchen bulova - 7/6/2006 7:38:45 AM)
Just have someone follow the stalker around taking video of him.  Maybe even posting a live feed on the internet for people to watch from home!

Hey, that may be the first time I agreed with you! (Lowell - 7/6/2006 8:08:01 AM)
Great idea.  Any volunteers?

DUH (phriendlyjaime - 7/6/2006 8:11:14 AM)
Of COURSE I volunteer for that-that's hilarious!  I'll even tell him corny jokes, and pretend we're friends the whole time.  Now I just need a camera...

PhriendlyJaime is uniquely qualified (Lowell - 7/6/2006 8:13:59 AM)
for this job.  I hereby nominate her for this difficult, possibly dangerous, assignment - stalking the Allen stalker! :)

Assuming this guy is everywhere.... (not gretchen bulova - 7/6/2006 9:50:24 AM)
We should just try and get someone to at each Webb event to be the paparazzi and follow him around, it would be classic.

From the video edits (Bubby - 7/6/2006 8:27:20 AM)

He was looking for a Allen yard sign, but this one smelled better.

What's the big deal? (teferi - 7/6/2006 10:11:09 AM)
This is called "tracking". It's an essential part of any political campaign, Republican OR Democratic. You have to know what your opponent is doing and, perhaps more importantly, exactly what he's saying.

We know strategically it's sound... (Delta Mike - 7/6/2006 10:20:54 AM)
... but we still like making fun of them, especially if your name is Hunter Pickles and you have a girlfriend with a pornesque website.

Not a big deal (Eric - 7/6/2006 10:23:38 AM)
Although I prefer the title of "stalking".

I wonder if the Webb team has someone following Allen yet.

Ahem (Mark - 7/6/2006 10:28:09 AM)

Charlottesville Unity Rally

Howdy everyone, from the Beach, biotch!!

Just out of curiosity (Eric - 7/6/2006 10:33:55 AM)
Do all these stalkers use the same video camera?  Looks like the same small thing - probably owned by the Allen campaign and sent out on assignment with the Stalker of the Day.

YES (phriendlyjaime - 7/6/2006 10:43:05 AM)
That is how they are easy to spot.  They will not wear a sticker, they usually have a shirt with some sort of "freedom ain't free", "love it or leave it", "9/11/01-Never Forget", or just a flag-maybe with a "these colors don't run" quote on it.

The cameras are all the same, and they have some sort of red white and blue sticker on it.

Hmm... (doctormatt06 - 7/6/2006 11:53:02 AM)
Where's his super secret sunglasses, and george allen trademark suck-up cowboy hat with detachable confederate flags.  Hmm... for shame george allen...if you're going to hire a sleuth to hunt things down, I at least expect him to look like humphrey bogart, wear a brown trench coat, and shuffle around secrety like...tsk tsk...
