AMERICAN SPECTATOR: "But make no mistake - George F. Allen is running for president."

Hello Everyone:

Please see below, the extreme right wing magazine THE AMERICAN SPECTATOR has George Allen on the cover of their June issue which is titled "The Conservatives' President?  On the trail with Senator George Allen (page) 38."

Here is a direct quote from David Holman who wrote the article on George Allen:

"But make no mistake - George F. Allen is running for president.  Or he just happens especially to enjoy primary states."

Coming from THE AMERICAN SPECTATOR instead of from a liberal or a regular news publication, this leaves George Allen highly vulnerable to the Webb campaign questioning him repeatedly if he will commit to serving out his full six year Senate term if he is re-elected and not letting up on Allen until he gives a straight answer to that question (which he never will do)!

That picture below is worth a thousand words and needs to be circulated all over for the people and media in Virginia to see!  If that picture did not come out below for you to see, then just open up either of these links to see it:

The people of Virginia need to be constantly reminded that IF George Allen wins this Senate race in 2006 and then runs for President in 2008 (which he will do) that they will only have a very "part-time Senator" in Allen!

The people of Virginia also need to be reminded that if Allen runs for and wins the Presidency in 2008, then Democratic Governor Tim Kaine will fill his vacated Senate seat with a Democrat who would disagree with much of what Allen is campaigning on now in 2006!

George Allen and his campaign need to be pounded with this repeatedly for all people and the media in Virginia to see and get this message!

An excellent example for all of us to follow and what we all need to be doing to help fight against extreme right wing Neocon smear propaganda which will help our local candidates to win their races!

THE JEFFERSONIAN:

Like his hero, Virginia's George Allen is a man of some contradictions. But he's also an immensely likeable presidential hopeful.

by DAVID HOLMAN

ASK GEORGE ALLEN IF HE'S RUNNING for President, and Virginia's junior senator demurs like any politician facing re-election this year.

"When we get to the future, I'll determine the future," he told reporters recently.

But make no mistake - George F. Allen is running for president.  Or he just happens especially to enjoy primary states.  In March and April, he visited Iowa, New Hampshire, Texas, South Carolina, and North Carolina.  He's courting bigwigs at state party conventions, and throwing his name in the hat for presidential straw polls...
