Hello everyone, Nate de la Piedra here, from the Fairfax County Young Democrats

I'm writing to announce that the Fairfax County Young Democrats have created a "Combined Fundraising Page" for all the candidates that we are supporting in November, please Check it out here and if you can, donate 10-20 or more bucks.

For the cost of a crappy lunch downtown, you can make sure that it's Jim Webb, Andy Hurst, Judy Feder and Jim Moran that will be having lunch in DC in November.

As we move into the 2006 election cycle, it is important to remember that while the election is in November, the battle officially started on June 14th, the day that the Democratic Nominees were selected.
As you read this morning in the Washington Post Article titled Northern Va. Republicans Try to Regroup, Fairfax County Republics are especially vulnerable.

Per the Washington Post

Northern Virginia Republicans are also concerned about usually safe seats such as those of Fairfax Reps. Thomas M. Davis III and Frank R. Wolf and U.S. Sen. George Allen

So again, if you want to help turn VA blue again, swing on over to our Combined Fundraising Page

[UPDATE] Just wanted to mention, that June 30th, is the next financial reporting deadline.  The first finance report for the General Election, let's raise as much $$$ as we can, to look even stronger right out of the gate.

Thank you guys (GrumpyCareBear24 - 6/22/2006 8:10:13 PM)
I'm a new Democrat.  I actually use to vote Republican until this year, but I recently realized that wasn't so cool, and even voted in my first primary for Andy Hurst and Jim Webb.  Same ticket that I'll be voting for in November.

Thanks for putting up a page where we can give to all, or just one if we want.

That's actually my Girlfriend, and I didn't have her write that, but I am really proud of her.  Went from voting R to volunteering and donating money for Dems.  WOOT WOOT.

One vote at a time.
