Finally getting off the fence for election day....

Well I've finally decided on which candidate I will be picking on the primary, and I've decided to go public with it.  A lot of people on the Raising Kaine have been very strong about their opinions of this guy, but as I've read about each candidate, and I've come to the conclusions about who I want, I just see myself going against the popular consensus here for the candidate I support.  It is for the reason I will be voting for...

Ken Longmeyer for the 11th District
As a future teacher, and as a member of the Mason District Committee I feel that Mr. Longmeyer has the experience and the knowledge of issues that I would like to see my elected official have when it comes to representing my values.
I have no bad feelings towards Mr. Hurst, I feel like he has run a good campaign, and I would like to say towards both democratic candidates that I thought they both had done good jobs in keeping this race as non-negative as possible.  I will be pleased to say that no matter who wins this primary I think I can support either in the general election without holding my nose at all.

Now on to the Senate...
I am saddened to say, that I just cannot vote in this race, I have seen too much attacking by both sides really to get interested.  Miller and Webb campaign sniping (or the sniping of their supporters) really turned me off to this primary.  All I can say is, may the best man win, and may he do a good job of tearing George W. Allen a new one.

And if ya live up in Fairfax and travel along 236, I'll be the young guy holding the sign saying democrats please vote!!!

Good luck to all the candidates!!!

Ken Longmeyer for 11th District...

Take it for what you will..

But I believe we all know...Beating Tom Davis...

IS A HUUUUGE TASK !!!

Hmm... (doctormatt06 - 6/12/2006 9:46:03 PM)
And while we're at it...

What issues do you think could help take Davis down...

I think we need to just keep chanting...

While the nation was imperiled with terrorists, hurricanes, and economic hardship..

Tom Davis thought Steroids in Baseball was what ailed us.

here's something (Craig - 6/12/2006 11:47:20 PM)
Davis used the vast powers of the government to inform us that...shocker!....athletes juice up!  Oh, the humanity!

I mean sure, we could have looked into FEMA, maybe re-eveluated how relief for terrorist attacks and natural disasters was being spent, and where it might do the most good, but come on, we all know that baseball roids are WAY more important!
