Here are a few shots from earlier today.  It looked like at least half the audience also had cameras, so I'm sure many more will be appearing.

Pics on the flip...
In no particular order.

These are great pics Eric!

Great End to a Great Campaign (Elaine in Roanoke - 6/12/2006 9:05:49 PM)
What a great rally! Now, let's win this thing for Jim!

Feel Free to post more (Josh - 6/12/2006 9:06:47 PM)
If anyone else has pics, don't be afraid to post them.

Great job, Eric. Today was a day to remember. (Lowell - 6/12/2006 9:15:01 PM)
John Kerry and Jim Webb, burying the hatchet of 30 years and declaring that the divisions of the Vietnam War are over.  Wow.

Interesting.  They say that Jim is too gung ho and not nuanced enough.

I don't know, I like that he's tough.  American could use a tough guy and not another lobbyist.  Jim says he's a leader, not a staffer.

Cause America sure loves nuance (Craig - 6/12/2006 9:29:11 PM)
Like that great master of finesse, George W. Bush.

Oh wait...

Iteresting article (thegools - 6/12/2006 9:47:42 PM)
I would recommend it.  It seems to give a view to the event from the eyes of someone not wrapped up in the day to day of the race, someone giving an objective view of the facts and imagery of the day.  Still there is some insight buried that leaves a taste in the mouth to chew on for a while.

Webb/Miller coverage ... (loboforestal - 6/12/2006 9:45:27 PM)
latest from wapo ...
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/06/12/AR2006061201301.html"Virginia Senate candidate James Webb rallied supporters yesterday with the Democratic Party's 2004 presidential nominee, Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), hoping to spark interest in a primary that is expected to draw a tiny percentage of voters today.

What Great Pictures! (AnonymousIsAWoman - 6/12/2006 9:49:31 PM)
I was so disappointed that I couldn't be  there. I couldn't get off work, but it looks like it was a great rally. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

Anonymous I was hoping you might make it... (Mimi Schaeffer - 6/12/2006 11:22:38 PM)
Ingrid (the commissioner of revenue in Arlinton who is quite the ham) grabbed my hand and walked me over to Mr. Webb. And we sat around and talked for about 5 minutes.

He is everything you expect and then MORE.

Decent.  Honorable.  And for a guy who doesn't talk about religion, he sure whipped out an old Matthews verse that I had to ask him which exactly one it was.

It's a really neat verse, but I'm too tired to look it up and I have to be at the polls at 6:00.

But the point is that when folks say he's not religious, Webb is, but religion is something that is private for him; he doesn't like to be the Pharasee of Jesus time who worships out loud in the town center; and so every person see how very holy indeed he is.

But Webb was-a-quoting, that's for sure! And made time to spend with at least 5-10 minutes with every person. No mall talk, either.  Unguarded, what's on his mind kind of discussion.

Sooooo  refreshing.  I think I'm starting to fall in love with the man, if I haven't already.

Now Anonymous, YOU ARE COMING TO THE VICTORY BASH TOMORROW, RIGHT?!?!?  You just have to, especially since we are going to WIN!!!!
