Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Dude, Seriously (Greg Bouchillon - 6/13/2006 8:30:15 AM)
Dante's circles of hell with that quote? It's like wearing white after labor day.

There are three books (Josh - 6/13/2006 9:22:37 AM)
don't be ignit.

You said ignit.

Hah.

Someone slap me.

Ahh, so which one is the image supposedly depicting? (I.Publius - 6/13/2006 12:05:14 PM)
... careful, you might expose yourself as someone who's never read any of them, and people could see how ignit you are.

I know you hate everything progressive (Josh - 6/13/2006 12:09:34 PM)
everything from literature, to questioning authority, to working for the common good...

But don't mess with me over Dante.  You just don't want to do that crap.  Besides, Greg is someone I respect.

and he backs up 10 steps, (I.Publius - 6/13/2006 12:28:53 PM)
and PUNTS!  ;-)

No worries.  I'll even let you go on believing that such a thoroughly doctrinal and judgmental Christian work of poetry is "progressive."  Too funny.

Thank you for that! (Left Wing - 6/13/2006 9:36:32 AM)
I am a BIG Marianne Williamson fan!
