How 'Bout a Miller Weasel Meter?

It's high time we have a Miller weasel meter.  There's another inflamatory mailing from the Miller desperates today.  Today's hot-button effort: Inflame women.  "Which Democrat for US Senate can women count on?" the brochure aks, masking the fact that James Webb supports women's issues as surely as Harris Miller does.  Then the brochure drudges up some ancient history.  Nice, Harris.  I am a feminist and I am appalled by this baseless, pathetic ploy.  And it shows Miller is the one who doesn't respect women.
Why is Miller doing this?  Because he thinks. people will believe any rumor they hear.  I hope he's wrong.  But if he thinks he'll have a unified party standing after June 13th this way, he'd better reexamine his approach.  Don't think he will though.

Meanwhile, how can good folks like Don Beyer make robo-calls for Miller?  (Got one today.)  I am about ready to stop answering the phone.  But then the so-called high-tech-Miller folks clog up our voice-mail.  That's a great way to earn a vote!

Instead, why doesn't Harris Miller stand for something?  Then maybe he wouldn't have to rely only on calling in political favors and negativity.  He personifies what's wrong with this party and the nation's politics.

We tried to bring out the Weasel (Eric - 6/2/2006 2:47:36 PM)
But due to an interest in keeping things civil we decided that the Miller Weasel should lay low for a while.

But more and more it appears that Miller is deserving of his very own Weasel.

Letting people know about Webb's history is fair game - but twisting it to appear that he's a Reagan Republican today or that a 20+ year old article (taken out of context) means he doesn't support women's issues?

Yeah, that's very weasel like.
