Republicans Tanking in Pennsylvania

The latest Rasmussen polls have great news for Democrats.  First, Rick Santorum is now 23% behind Bob Casey (56-33%).  (Some may be chagrined that Casey is pro-life, but Casey, having been raised in a Catholic environment, comes by the belief honestly.  I know his family a bit.)  Santorum at one point had gotten within single digits of Casey, but that has changed since Casey won his primary, and news came out that Santorum doesn+óGé¼Gäót live in Pennsylvania any more.  And Lynn Swann+óGé¼Gäós early good polling results against incumbent Democratic Governor Ed Rendell have turned south fast. Rendell now holds a 52-34% advantage.  I guess people realized he really brings nothing to the public arena but the ability to catch a football.

I grew up in Pennsylvania and still follow its politics.  I was proud of the big win the state gave Kerry, and the vote in that state makes the Ohio results look all the more suspicious to me.  Rolling Stone is going to have a big article by Robert Kennedy Jr. this weekend, alleging that Ohio was in fact stolen by Bush in 2004.  According to Raw Story, pollster Lou Harris thinks so too.
