Montgomery County (VA) prepares to welcome James Webb this Wednesday night, May 31st.  Henry Tieleman of Democracy Prevails PAC announced, "At 6:30 James Webb is scheduled to arrive at the Blacksburg Library (on Draper Rd. and Miller St., diagonally across from Town Hall) for a "greet and meet" session until 7:00 p.m. At that time James will be introduced by Jim Shuler - provided the latter is not involved in legislative business in Richmond."

Montgomery County Democrats love Del. Jim Shuler.  So, his welcoming James Webb comes as great news.  But there's even more.  Stay tuned for some surprise endorsements.  But I'm not telling (yet).

Blacksburg Wednesday Night with WEBB!! (kevinceckowski - 5/30/2006 12:01:57 PM)
I received this message from a fellow Democrat who is also supporting Mark Warner if he runs for President' 08, and he is visiting Blacksburg, he plans to attend this event, he writes:

Hello Montgomery County Democrats!

DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY CANDIDATE JIM WEBB

MAY 31ST AT 6:30 P.M. IN BLACKSBURG

Jim Webb, who is competing with Harris Miller for the Democratic
nomination to defeat George Allen, will be visiting Montgomery
County this week.  There will be a public reception at the
Blacksburg Public Library on Wednesday, May 31st at 6:30pm, co-
sponsored by the Montgomery County Democratic Committee and
Democracy Prevails.

This will be an informal "meet and greet" but Jim will be making
remarks and taking questions.  If you've made up your mind to
support him in the Democratic Primary June 13th, it's a chance to
see him in person and let him know of your support.  If you're still
trying to make up your mind, it's a great chance to learn more about
him.

We can beat George Allen if we all work together!
