As a few people in Virginia have noticed, the Republican Governors Association recently launched a frivolous attack on Tim Kaine's record.

However, without missing a beat, the Kaine Campaign has responded.

See more information about Kaine's response here.

Oh, thanks for the comment Steve.  As usual, you appear to be barking up the wrong tree.

Kaine's tax record is only ambiguous to some people. Almost any vote can be construed to lead people to think it was something other than it really was.

The RGA is clearly trying to distort the truth of Kaine?s record in an effort to buttress a lack-luster candidate, Jerry Kilgore.

No need to reply, Steve ...

I'll just wait on the next RGA commercial attacking Kaine because they have nothing good to say about their candidate.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Councilman-elect Kaine vote to raise the Richmond real estate tax rate in 1994? Hmm... perhaps a Richmond council-woman, who is running for Lt. Governor this year, joined him in the tax hike.

Don't answer right now, Brian ...

I'll just wait for the rebuttal commercial and another scolding letter from Tom Dashle.

That will teach those Pub 'campaign hit men'.
