Al Weed Delegates Angry About Bern Ewert Asking Them to Lie

Edited for unnecessary name-calling. My apologies.

There have been some rumblings around the Fifth District concerning the absurd Bern Ewert for Congress campaign (if you can call it that) and their call for Delegates to come to the convention on May 20 and change who they were sent there to support.  Each of the 22 jurisdictions in this district held or scheduled caucuses, and those caucuses have brought us to where we are now.

Al Weed has a lead in the delegates right now. There are several uncommitted Delegates from around the district.
Bern Ewert and his campaign manager, Marlin Adams (how does one manage chaos?) have come out publicly and stated on their website and to the media that they are actively calling Al Weed+óGé¼Gäós delegates to try to get them to lie and support Bern instead. Have they no shame? Have they no brains? Why would Delegates change their minds now about whom they are supporting? Would they suddenly have some sort of epiphany about who the best candidate is? Not likely.

The Democratic Party is not the party of liars. The people of the Fifth District are not liars, by and large. Why do Bern Ewert and Marlin Adams think so? Isn+óGé¼Gäót the Republican Party good enough at lying for all of us? The GOP only lies, that+óGé¼Gäós all they do. Anything to justify themselves and their actions. They even lie about lying.

Bern Ewert and Marlin Adams are doing a great disservice to not only this district, but to the Democratic Party locally and nationally. They deserve to be criticized, and they deserve all the scorn they bring upon themselves. I challenge them to come out and tell us that is not what they mean, that they don+óGé¼Gäót really want us to lie.

They are a disgrace to the State and the State Party.

They should just stop. Now.
