Sanchez on Miller

Rob Sanchez is an activist who lost his engineering career to foreign workers who came to the United States on H-1B guest-worker visas.  Sanchez says that Harris Miller's lobbying activities contributed to the displacement of American workers due to offshoring and the importation of exploitable foreign labor.  He was the guest on Brett Folks' radio show on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, and responded to a question from a concerned Virginia voter about Harris Miller.

Send this everywhere folks. (DemTilDeath - 5/5/2006 10:38:28 PM)
It's got to get out.  This is powerful stuff.  Send this to every union worker you know throughout the country and ask them to forward it to their friends.  It's time the story got out.  Miller cannot be allowed to win.

Dear Arturo (Kathy Gerber - 5/5/2006 11:13:28 PM)
You have knocked it out of the park with this one! Way to go!

I'm going to make CDs (Kathy Gerber - 5/5/2006 11:15:08 PM)
With this mp3 and the video and hand them out.

The good thing about the mp3 is that the guy sums it all up in such a short period of time.

This is (Ingrid - 5/5/2006 11:17:45 PM)
pretty damning stuff.  I guess you cannot hide from your past.

Harris, you've already amassed a huge fortune (DemTilDeath - 5/5/2006 11:34:53 PM)
Quit the race and go home.  Leave us in peace with what money we've managed to keep.

Hey everyone...  check out the BS on Miller's wikipedia page.  Unbelievable.  Let's get the story straight over there today.

Miller is a cancer (Info_Tech_Guy - 5/6/2006 3:10:14 PM)
Harris Miller is a cancer in the party of the common people -- what used to be the party of labor.

Miller represents the corruption of real democratic ideals. The contrast between Miller and Jim Webb could not be sharper.

We have an alliance of slicky boys out to hide behind the name "Democrat" but whose alliance with "big money" is no different than that of most Republicans in the Senate...
(Rob saisd there was basically no difference between Allen and Miller in his radio comments).

Miller's polar opposite is Jim Webb, a man of the people who has fought his way up and whose personal integrity is not for sale.

Harris Miller has 50 million dollars in the bank because he has been so good at helping corportations fire American workers and replace them with lower cost foreign replacements.

This isn't a race between candidates with subtle differences and a shared commitment to Democratic values. This is a battle for the soul of the Democratic Party and a middle class American society.

A vote for Harris Miller is a vote for the same values espoused by George Allen: serve the best interests of the rich at the expense of the middle and working classes.

Thank you ITG (DemTilDeath - 5/6/2006 3:23:13 PM)
You have helped get the word out on this.  Your comments started a lot of us digging, and we found you were right.  As you and Sanchez have stated, Harris Miller cannot be allowed to win this primary.

We fight for American values and our shared future (Info_Tech_Guy - 5/6/2006 4:26:22 PM)
I entered the fight against offshore outsourcing and worker replacement because it was necessary.

It was necessary because I would not and could not rely on others to do for my family what I felt was necessay. I will not complacently accept the destruction of my childrens' future because the Harris Millers of this world have money and political power. Their corruption of our democracy must not be allowed to stand.

The Harris Millers of this world may win every major battle for awhile but our Revolution proves that real victory can come from winning the one crucial, final battle.

I hope that Virginia will be the outsourcing lobby's Yorktown...

I have looked hard for credible leadership. Now I have found it. James Webb is the sort of real democrat who we must elect in order for our nation and middle class society to be preserved.

As Jim Webb has pointed out in his book, Born Fighting, Americans have absorbed the combative, fiercely independent and persistent qualities of the Scots-Irish. On a national scale, this is a force in our national character which makes every one of us formidable opponents to the modern corruption exemplified by Miller and Allen.

Our ancestors did not cross the seas to become the serfs of a new aristocracy of wealth and privilege... Nor did our ancestors hope that their descendants would tolerate the corruption of popular democracy by grasping opportunists and demagogues. Our fulfillment of the American Dream must always include the assertion of American values and opposition to those who would make themselves our masters.
