Brownback's Short-Term Memory Loss

The AP today reported on a poll that showed 45% of Conservatives no longer support George W. Bush.

All I can say is "It's about time!".  I also agree with the founder of USA Today that those few who are still supporting this failed, ignorant, greedy, hateful conservative deadend president are all in "denial"

Interviewed on this poll results, Kansas Senator Sam Brownback had this to say:

+óGé¼+ôThis tells us we+óGé¼Gäóve got our work cut out for us,+óGé¼-¥ said Sen. Sam Brownback, a conservative Republican from Kansas who may run for president in 2008. +óGé¼+ôThe key for us is to show restraint on spending and on dealing with immigration.+óGé¼-¥

Promptly ignoring his own advice, he didn't walk, he RAN over to the Senate to support a $109 Billion emergency spending bill, rife with pork, pork, pork, pork, pork.

Wow!  Remind me to borrow some cash from this guy.  Chances are he'll forget about it right away.  Unfortunatly, the voters of Kansas sent Brownback to the US Senate to protect the Constitution and the United States of America, something he and the rest of his conservative bretheren in the Senate promptly forgot.
