Tim Kaine Supports Al Weed

Just found out about this at the campaign office tonight: Gov. Tim Kaine and Rep. Bobby Scott (VA-03) support Al Weed for Congress. Al won 106 delegates to Bern Ewert's 55, but his nomination won't be official until the May 20 convention. The caucus season ended with some negativity, and Bern told papers he'd be calling all of Al's delegates to change their votes, so I'm excited to see that two leaders have come forward to help unite the party behind the inevitable nominee.

There will be either a press release or an announcement on the campaign's web site soon and I'll let you know if there's any more juice to the story.
