-- A new progressive candidate pops by (via her husband) in the diaries - Eileen Cassidy Rivera is running for Alexandria School Board.

-- Not Larry provides his account of two Jim Webb events:

The Fredericksburg event was held at a very small local BBQ establishment.  The crowd of about 50 people totally overwhelmed the place, and people were spilling into the street. . . .

What's amazing about this campaign is the people.  300 people to drive into Arlington on a weekday afternoon? . . . Today's event drawing 300 during a contested primary is unheard of.

-- VirginiaBelle chimes in here about the Arlington Webb event.  She sounds impressed.

-- Jim Webb's campaign blog is active this week.  Harris Miller's two campaign blogs haven't been.

-- Kenton breaks down the stunning poll results from the 2nd Circuit - a tie between Kellam and Drake.

And this is an Open Thread on any topic.

Kellam's gonna win (Lowell - 4/27/2006 5:18:37 PM)
And I can't wait to see some polling on Feder-Wolf too!

yup (Rob - 4/27/2006 5:41:51 PM)
I really like kellam's chances.  I would be surprised if, at this point, feder is close in the polls - she doesn't have kellam's advantages (name ID, city-wide elected official, more time since announcement, moveon's ad).
