Miller Endorsements: No More Excuses

Look, back in December 2005 and January 2006, when Harris Miller was the only declared candidate in the race, I could understand - well, sort of - people endorsing him.  At least I could excuse it. Democratic unity and all that.

But now, in late April 2006, what on earth excuse does anyone have to be endorsing Harris Miller?  What, they've decided all of a sudden that thet just LOVE outsourcing?  They've concluded, after deep and strenuous thought, that a long-time lobbyist is just whwt we need when Dems are trying to run AGAINST the "culture of corruption?"  They look at the tremendous grassroots support and the strong poll results for Webb and conclude that...duh, they should back the sure loser, Harris Miller?

OK, here's the deal.  Anyone who endorsed Miller in December 2005 or January 2006, maybe even in February, get's a pass. Anyone who endorses Miller from that point onwards is hopeless, and not deserving of election/re-election/whatever.  Absolutely lame. What are you people thinking?!?

P.S. By the way, Miller dudes, your blog hasn't been updated since April 5, and even that post has zero comments. Why even bother?

and support the only man who can BOOT ALLEN

Miller=Allen on outsourcing, economic fairness (Info_Tech_Guy - 4/25/2006 8:08:00 AM)
When people look around and reports of record high coporate profits and CEOs reaping huge bonuses after both manufacturing and white collar workers are let go, do you think that these people can be energised to go work for or vote for a man who has made his fortune from helping business to destroy middle class jobs and ruin middle class families? I think not. If Miller wins, kiss off chances to make any arguments against Allen on the economic side. They'll be seen as two peas in a pod...

However, I don't think that Miller will win. But his continued presence in this race is a waste of resources which could be better spent supporting Jim Webb against Allen.

About 3 years ago Chuck Schumer had an interesting public discussion with Paul Craig Roberts in the NYT and Brookings on the subject of outsourcing. Schumer did not sound enthusiastic then and ever since, Roberts has provided the analysis to prove that outsourcing is gutting our economy of middle class jobs. As the head of the Dem. Senatorial campaign Committee, Chuck needs to push Miller out. Schumer has no excuses; he knows that outsourcing is ruining our jobs base.

I love your signature. You da man!

Their "blog?" (phriendlyjaime - 4/25/2006 1:52:24 PM)
It's quite evident that instead of updating their blog, or signing up for a free blog, they would rather come here and try to beat a dead horse.

What's ironic is that Miller is supposedly (Lowell - 4/25/2006 2:01:51 PM)
Mr. High Tech, yet he can't even do a decent blog. Lame-o.

our delegates? (jimmy_ric - 4/25/2006 7:49:28 PM)
Who are everyone's delegates and Senators?  Particularly some of the more prominent bloggers... let's hear who your representatives are.  You have names in the community... it's time for some real grassroots action here!

What are you suggesting exactly? (Lowell - 4/25/2006 10:26:00 PM)
I'm open to suggestions...
