Judy Feder Outraises Frank Wolf By Over 2:1

Challenger Judy Feder has raised the most of any challenger this quarter, starting the quarter with zero and ending with $268,373.25 in the bank. Loudoun County, the fastest growing portion of the district, has seen some recent victories by Democrats in state legislative seats, and Loudoun County Republicans should be worried.

These numbers should be at least raise eyebrows, if not a red flag or two, in the Wolf camp. In addition to cleaning Wolf's clock in terms of fundraising, Feder spent barely a fifth of Wolf's total. Wolf barely has a 2 to 1 advantage in cash on hand, which is not the cushy position his fellow incumbents have. With Feder poised to raise even more, and no primary challenger to burn it on, Wolf is facing the toughest fight he's seen in a long time. Not only that, in small contributions, Feder has raised $29,872.

Frank Wolf may be rolling around in campaign coffers from times past, but Feder is showing that starting from zero, you can beat Frank Wolf.

Very impressive. (Lowell - 4/16/2006 7:28:51 AM)
Go Judy!!

That's pretty good.... (Dan - 4/16/2006 10:14:56 AM)
...for an invisible woman.  Is she even campaigning yet?  Her website isn't up yet.  She hasn't made any contact with Arlington Young Democrats or Arlington County Democratic Committee OR even Fairfax Dems from what I can see.  Nice that she could raise money, but it would be nicer if people in her District knew who the hell she is.

Does Judy need help with her website? (Lowell - 4/16/2006 9:45:34 PM)
If so, I know some good web developers who don't charge an arm or a leg. Unless they're Republicans, of course.  But for you... :)

Thanks Lowell... (Loudoun County Dem - 4/16/2006 9:59:51 PM)
I don't know if they need help or not but I'll pass your offer on, my wife is helping the campaign.
